Hi!
I'm Todd Jones, Director of the Fisher's of Men Ministry at Sedalia Baptist Church in beautiful Big Island, VA. My passion for the outdoors began when I was a very young boy. I started hunting and fishing with my dad when I was about seven years old. My dad was such a great father and friend. He seemed to always make time in his busy schedule for just me and him. My dad was also a great man of God. He taught me that no matter what you do, do it unto the glory of God. As I grew older I began to see a great need for other people to share in that same bond with the outdoors, with family and friends, and most importantly with Jesus Christ.
God has given me a vision to see men come to know Him through this outdoorsman type of ministry. To see them grow in their spiritual walk and to be strong leaders in their families and churches. I would like to invite you to come see what we are all about. This is a new ministry for Sedalia Baptist, and with the Lord's direction, we are trying to improve it every day.
I want to also invite you to our biggest event of the year: "SPORTSMAN'S DAY" We have a great day of fun and fellowship for the entire family, down on the Mountain Run farm behind our church. Our outdoors show is actually outdoors! It is very interactive and open to everyone. We had over 2500 people in attendance last year! Best of all... it's Free!
